PDI and Post-Sale Servicing

Every new bicycle that we sell undergoes a Pre-Delivery Inspection, where we ensure that the bike is mechanically sound and safe to ride. After six weeks we ask our customers to return their cycles for a complimentary post-sale service. This service checks that the cycle is safe and operating correctly.

It is important to note that if you buy your bicycle from a catalogue or mail-order company, these important stage are almost certainly not performed and could result in mechanical failure or injury.

Bike-It encourages its customers to return their cycles regularly for servicing. This will help to prolong the life of the cycle, keep it in a good mechanical state and most of all ensure that it is safe. As an indication of the quality of our workshops services, we are a Shimano Service Centre and have been since 1996.v

For frame repairs and respraying, we use Argos Racing Cycles of Bristol. We are happy to liaise with them on your behalf, stripping, sending, receiving and rebuilding your bicycle.
